Construction Manager

We currently have an opening for a Construction Manager with a New York City Public Agency. This position requires expertise in overall construction management as well as great interpersonal and leadership skills. As a Construction Manager, you will provide the following:


  • Administration and coordination of activities for the construction of new school buildings or the renovation of existing school buildings.
  • Review design documents for accuracy and completeness to minimize Change Orders.
  • Visit various sites to ensure quality and safe construction operations by the contractors.
  • Assure the quality and high standard of performance by all contractors, consultants, vendors, etc.
  • Make decisions and take action in a timely manner to ensure timely completion of the construction projects.


A minimum of 5 years in construction and construction management is required, and while this position only requires a high school diploma, an undergraduate degree is a BIG plus.



Special Inspectors (3 openings)

We are currently looking for qualified Special Inspectors to perform the following inspection duties per the NYC Building Codes:



Structural Steel Bolting



Structural Stability

Post-Installed Anchors

Fire Resistance

Mechanical Systems

Energy Code Compliance

Contingent Safety Inspector (2 openings)

Our client is looking to fill two (2) open positions for Contingent Safety Inspector. The successful candidate will be field based in the five boroughs and reporting to a designated Managing Inspector.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Conduct unannounced site-specific safety compliance inspections on all assigned projects. Inspections will include review of all relevant site documentation, a physical inspection of the active work site area including; staging, storage, roofs, scaffold, sidewalk bridging, and areas with public protection to verify that applicable safety rules, regulations and code compliance is implemented. Additionally, they will identify and communicate any site safety deficiencies and recommendations to the appropriate contractor site personnel and the SCA Project Officer to ensure compliance.
  • Provide written Safety Inspection Reports with photos (of deficiencies and /or site conditions).
  • When warranted, issue Stop Work Orders to the Contractor to cease any operation(s) which pose an imminent danger to workers, school occupants, or pedestrians.
  • Conduct special inspections and respond as necessary to emergencies, accidents, incidents, complaints, and severe weather.
  • Attend protocol and preconstruction meetings.
  • Participate in the implementation of safety training as required.
  • Assure that projects comply with all Federal, NY State, NY City and SCA Safety requirements.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • A high school or general education diploma from an accredited program.
  • A minimum of three years performing NYC construction safety inspections.
  • Active New York City Construction Site Safety Manager’s License, or a satisfactory combination of education and experience and commitment to pursue the license.
  • 30-Hour OSHA Construction Safety Certification, etc.
  • Ability to climb scaffolding and work from heights.



Junior Civil/Structural Engineer

Must have 1 year of experience in bridge & highway inspection.




We’re looking to fill the open position of Accountant for our Princeton office. Duties will include (but aren’t limited to) auditing, tax responsibilities, invoice duties, and payroll.



  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3-4 years’ experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Expert-level knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Must be able to multi-task.
