Description: Hiring for a Construction Manager with a New York City Public Agency. This position requires expertise in construction management as well as great interpersonal and leadership skills. As a Construction Manager, you will provide the following: Administration and coordination of activities for the construction of new school buildings or the renovation of existing school buildings. Review design documents for accuracy and completeness to minimize Change Orders. Visit various sites to ensure quality and safe construction operations by the contractors. Assure the quality and high standard of performance by all contractors, consultants, vendors, etc. Make decisions and take action in a timely manner to ensure timely completion of the construction projects.
