Description: As a Civil Engineering Intern, you will be responsible for supporting the civil engineering team in the analysis, design, and construction of civil infrastructure projects. Your key duties and responsibilities will include: Assisting in the design and analysis of civil engineering projects, including roadways, bridges, buildings, and water and wastewater treatment plants. Collaborating with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure compliance with design specifications and project requirements. Conducting field inspections and site visits to ensure project safety and adherence to design standards. Assisting in the preparation of construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates. Participating in the review of project schedules and budgets to ensure timely completion of projects within budget constraints. Maintaining accurate and organized records of project activities and progress. Keeping up to date with industry standards, building codes, and regulations related to civil engineering. Participating in team meetings and presenting project updates and recommendations. Qualifications: Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Familiarity with civil engineering software tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or HEC-RAS. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Willingness to learn and take on new challenges. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Prior internship experience in civil engineering or related field is a plus.
