Role: Structural Engineering Intern

Description: As a Structural Engineer Intern, you will be responsible for providing support to the structural engineering team in the analysis, design, and construction of structures. Your key duties and responsibilities will include: Assisting in the preparation of structural designs and calculations using relevant software tools and codes. Collaborating with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure compliance with design specifications and project requirements. Conducting field inspections and site visits to ensure structural safety and adherence to design standards. Assisting in the preparation of construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates. Participating in the review of project schedules and budgets to ensure timely completion of projects within budget constraints. Maintaining accurate and organized records of project activities and progress. Keeping up to date with industry standards, building codes, and regulations related to structural engineering. Participating in team meetings and presenting project updates and recommendations. Qualifications: Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field. Familiarity with structural engineering software tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, or SAP2000. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Willingness to learn and take on new challenges. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Prior internship experience in structural engineering or related field is a plus.
