Principal and co-founder of MP Engineers, Mahendra provides overall direction and management of the company. He oversees the completion of complex, multi-disciplined projects for clients in both the public and private sectors. Under his direction MP Engineers has completed and successfully delivered critical projects for major agencies including NYCDOT, NYSDOT, NYCSCA, NYCHA, NYCDPR, NYSOGS, NYCEDC, NYCDDC, MTA/LIRR, DASNY, NJDOT, NJTA, NJTransit and Port Authority of NY & NJ. During his 30-year tenure, Mahendra has been involved with the analysis and design of many complex structures. He has applied his knowledge and experience to numerous transportation infrastructure improvement initiatives that have involved the inspection/condition assessment, design and construction management/inspection of roadway reconstruction projects, bridge rehabilitation projects, new bridge design projects and NBIS bridge inspections projects in New York and New Jersey. He has functioned as Principal-in-Charge, Project Executive, Project Manager, Project/Structural Design Engineer and Quality Control Engineer on various projects totaling over $850 million in construction value. Mahendra is a registered professional engineer in the States of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Connecticut, and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
